Independent AI research for strategic business decisions.

01

Strategic

AI as a strategy question, not a technology question.

Strategy, growth, and operations — not implementation.

Output holds up to challenge after the room empties.

02

Independent

Judgment is the product. The only product.

Aligned with the company we serve.

Most useful before money, attention, or capital is committed.

03

Research

A defined question in. A plain-business interpretation out.

Every engagement begins with a defined question.

Every conclusion shows the reasoning that earned it.

We help businesses understand where AI may matter strategically, where it may be overhyped, and what deserves further research before action — across strategy, growth, and operations.

AI is being sold faster than most leadership teams can credibly evaluate it. Vendors arrive every week with new claims. Boards expect a coherent answer. Operators are asked to fund, defer, or ignore — often before they understand the question. The market rewards confidence. It does not reliably reward clarity.

AI is easy to access. Harder to interpret.

I came to AI through a different door than most.

My background is operational and commercial: consumer brands, hospitality, finance, entrepreneurship, and legal operations. Each chapter trained a different lens — customer behavior, service execution, investment discipline, product judgment, process, risk, and governance.

That matters because the most important AI questions are rarely software questions alone. They are questions of strategy, growth, operations, customer trust, brand integrity, risk, and capital allocation.

Formal study in AI and digital transformation sharpened the view: AI is not merely a tool category. It is an intelligence layer being added to every company, workflow, customer relationship, decision process, and operating model.

The companies that benefit from it will not be the ones that chase every use case. They will be the ones that know what matters, what does not, and what sequence of decisions deserves leadership attention.

Rectitude was built for the moment before commitment. The output is meant to be defensible in a board meeting — not impressive on a stage.

Bring the question before the commitment.

The usual first step is a private working session or a short scoping conversation around a defined AI, strategy, growth, or operating question. Send the question through the form. If there is a fit, we will reply personally with next steps.
